128x128
128x128 is a series of looping animations at 128Ă—128 pixels. Working within this tight grid, the series explores how much motion can live in a small space. Each piece combines structural animation with color cycling, a technique from early computer graphics that simulates movement by rotating its palette. Here it is used to enhance existing movement, the two layers reinforcing each other to produce fluid, continuous motion from a minimal set of pixels.
