Machineloops is a series of hand-drawn pixel animations that operate like self-contained machines. Minimal in form yet intricate in rhythm, each loop plays with repetition and autonomy. Inspired by the puzzle logic of early 90s video games such as The Incredible Machine and Lemmings, the series also echoes idle industrial processes and imagined technologies. These influences are distilled into compact animated structures that suggest systems running endlessly for their own sake, without purpose beyond their motion. Over the years, Machineloops has been exhibited internationally in numerous public events, and its playful tone has made it engaging for audiences of all ages.
