Unwound is a four-part series of 24×24-pixel monochrome illustrations. Each piece reduces form to its simplest possible structure, using a tight grid and a limited set of marks to explore how small shifts in density, direction and shade can suggest motion or depth. Working within this strict resolution, the series focuses on the expressive potential of minimal pixel arrangements and the clarity that emerges when imagery is stripped down to its most essential elements.
